About Phillip John Jewelers

Phillip John Jewelers is a locally owned and operated family business. Phillip John and his brother Vincent, partners, share a combined experience of over thirty years jewelry industry.

Vincent Lindwedel opened his first jewelry store in Baden Farmer's Market just days after graduating from college. His store soon outgrew this small space and he moved to River Roads Mall, where he operated for nine years before relocating to downtown St. Louis. His business grew by leaps and bounds and in time Vincent felt as though he was losing the personal contact that he had once shared with his customers. With this in mind and a desire to recreate an atomsphere where personal service is second to none, Vincent sold his prosperous business to his partner and began on plans to open a new, small jewelry store with his brother, Phillip.

Phillip began his career in the jewelry industry as his brother's apprentice while working his way through college. He gained a well-rounded knowledge of the jewelry business, with bench work becoming his forte. Phillip worked for the next several years as a bench jewelry, but what he enjoyed most was working directly with his customers to create custom jewelry pieces. It was this desire to be directly involved in all aspects that made his decision to open Phillip John Jewelers an easy one.
